Newborn Unit

In our Newborn Unit, problems that may occur in newborn babies are intervened in a timely and appropriate manner.

Possible treatment applications of infants are carried out under intensive supervision by our specialist health teams.

What treatments are made?

Treatments made in our Newborn Unit include respiratory support, blood exchange, phototherapy, percutaneous catheter applications, total parenteral nutrition applications, thoracic tube insertion, Eco-Heart Ultrasound, bedside USG and retinopathy examination. 

Newborn care

Our Newborn Unit provides appropriate care for infants born prematurely from the 24th gestational week, with respiratory disease, low weight, organ damage, hepatitis and infection.

If necessary, our Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology physicians are also involved.
